Here's how:
Going to Heaven is the easiest thing anyone could ever do. However, sometimes the hardest thing in the world to do is get someone to realize just how easy it is to be saved. This page is dedicated to clearly explaining God's simple plan of salvation.

I John 5:13 says, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

Often times someone will say, "No one can be sure of anything after they die." This verse plainly teaches that one can know that his eternal destiny is heaven.

Listed below are four simple steps to being 100% sure you are on your way to Heaven. Please consider them carefully.

1. Admit you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:10 says, "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one."

The first step to being 100% sure you are on your way to Heaven when you die is to admit you are a sinner. This simply means to admit that you have done things in your life that were not right before God.

If you are willing to admit that you are a sinner and have done wrong before God, then you are ready for step two.

2. Realize there is a terrible price that must be paid for your sin.
Our sins must be paid for. Saying I'm sorry to the judge at the court house may be a noble thing, but being sorry does not release one from the penalty which accompanies his crime. There is an eternal law book which states that there is a punishment for sin and it must be paid.

Romans 6:23a says,"For the wages of sin is death."

Revelation 20:14 says, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."

The penalty for sin is the second death or the lake of fire. Because of our sin we all deserve to go to hell.

There are only two ways to get our sins paid for. If we so choose, we can pay for our sins by spending eternity in hell. Hell is a terrible place filled with the wrath of God for those who chose to pay for their own sins.

If you realize that you deserve to pay for your own sins and agree that choosing hell as a method of payment is a bad choice, you are ready to move on to step three.

3. Jesus paid the price for your sin.
There is only one alternative to hell as the payment for our sins. We can accept the free gift of salvation which Jesus purchased for us on the cross.

Romans 6:23b says, But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:8 says, "But God commendeth (showed) His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Before we were ever born Jesus knew everything we would ever do in our lives. He knew every word, every thought, and every deed we would do from the day we were born to the day we will die. Jesus knew it all.

Jesus, through His perfect life, cruel death on the cross, and his miraculous victory over death, paid the price for every sin you and I would ever commit. The bill for your sin was paid in full before you were ever born. God will accept Jesus' payment for your sin and consider your bill paid in full. This is the only alternative to going to hell.

If you would rather have Jesus pay for your sins than go to hell and pay for them your self, you are ready for step four.

4. You must accept Jesus as your Saviour and receive the FREE gift of eternal life.
Romans 10:13 says, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

The payment for our sin does not become ours until we accept it. When we accept Jesus as our Saviour, He pays for all our sin-past, present, and future. Wouldn't you like to accept Jesus as your Saviour today?
