"As cold waters to a thirsty
soul, so is good news from a far country."

March 15, 2006
March finds everything going just fine for
the Galyean family here in the Philippines. We have been very
busy and time is moving ever so swiftly, as usual. I preached
in a revival for Bro. Godsoe in Cavite and so we were able
to visit a nearby zoo in Tagaytay. It was a lot of fun. Baguio
City is about 90 minutes north of us. It is high in the mountains
and so it is very cool and refreshing there. Barb and I went
up one afternoon and just enjoyed some time together. It is
very nice.
We are really getting busy now as we have
finalized our plans for the 2nd anniversary of our church
here. Pastor Brown will be coming from ECBC and we are excited
about what God is going to do. I have started working on all
the organization and planning of the anniversary events. We
will have a motorcade, and giant children's service, and the
main anniversary service. Barb is working hard with the music.
We plan on using all of our music groups in the anniversary.
We will be landing in Norfolk, VA on July
3 and be heading straight to Florida for the wedding of Barb's
sister, Grace. Our visit in the states will only be a few
weeks, but we sure look forward to seeing as many of you as
possible. We will have more information about our travels
as the time gets closer.

While we were in Baguio, we met this
wonderful dog. He was there representing a film company
and they were offering pictures with the dog for a "talent
fee." So, I took my phone and snapped this picture.
Afterwards, I told the folks in charge that the dog
should be paying me for allowing the dog to have its
picture taken with my beautiful wife! Anyway, it's a
great picture for twenty-five cents.

Heidi snapped this picture of herself
with my cell phone. I included it here because it has
become special to me. After she took the picture, she
saved it as the screen saver on my phone and now I see
this picture every time I open the phone. She is truly
becoming a beautiful young lady.

Barbie poses for a picture with a big brown bear.
Barbie really had fun playing with this baby tiger.
Guess what she wants for a pet now! You got it. NO!
Heidi made friends with this lama.

I have added a page to our site called "Archives."
This will allow me to just save all the pages I build so that
we can browse them in the future. I also wanted to save some
pictures we have used in the past. I hope you have time to
take a look. As I was working on the pages, I just couldn't
believe how time has passed. We have traveled thousands and
thousands of miles and so much has happened. Heidi has grown
and matured greatly since we first came to the Philippines.
I was reminded of how quickly time passes and how important
family and friends are. I just wanted to take a moment to
say we love you and miss you all. And express our gratitude
for your prayers, financial help, and encouragement along
the way.
Have a great day!
